Content Marketing
Interruptive marketing - interrupting people's lives with
commercials, phone calls, and even emails with a direct pitch
- is becoming overshadowed by a more forward-thinking inbound
marketing approach. With inbound marketing you provide interesting
content, of value to your constituents, that draws them in
to your website or social media sites to become more engaged
and ultimately more involved.
It's a bit of a paradigm shift for most nonprofits, who need
to think of themselves as a mini publishing house to be successful;
but the rewards are great as you build credibility as experts
in your field and rank higher in search engines that value
fresh content over everything else. Most nonprofits have "education"
as part of their mission, but no real educational component
on their websites - or none that are updated regularly; this
is where a content plan can help you meet those educational
goals, turning your website into a program piece rather than
falling entirely under your marketing budget.

| We Can Help You: |
|
| |
Develop a content plan
for your website and social media sites, meeting with
key staff to develop your website personas and content
ideas for each. We then create a detailed plan that identifies
each content item by persona, vehicle, person responsible
and date to be implemented, creating the perfect guide
to implement website updates throughout the year. |
| |
Create custom content that
meets the needs of your constituents while accomplishing
your mission and goals. Content could include articles,
whitepapers, resources, contests, coupons or other content
that people can download or access or educational Flash
pieces or online tools for program participants. See

Manage and implement your content plan
as part of our monthly
webmaster services; we can also regularly update and
provide content for Facebook and Twitter - monitoring
and tracking external news items relevant to your cause
along with reporting on new website content. |
